Discover Church removes obstacles so that people can find Jesus. God has given our church a new name for a new season and in this series, we will DISCOVER our future church with its refocused vision and renewed cultural values.

b) List obstacles (religious or rebellious, pride or apathy) that prevent you from knowing Jesus more.

1. Retell a time when your heart was transformed by Jesus… (maybe it was a dramatic Damascus Road encounter or a painful desert experience)
2. Like Saul how can our “misplaced zeal” actually create obstacles to Jesus? (consider children, visiting seeker at church or unchurched family/friends)
3. Review the Transform-Conform table: Each share are you currently transforming or conforming? (following, pray specifically for each other’s spiritual growth).
