  1. Read Exodus 7:1–13. What is this passage describing?
  2. Can you list the 10 plagues that follow (Ex 7:14 – 11:30)? What was purpose of these 10 acts of God?
  3. Pharaoh’s heart oscillated between soft and hard, open and stubborn – where do you  see similar patterns in your heart toward God ?
  4. Ps Caleb asked, ‘Is God’s divine judgement on Egypt ethical?’. Did it help you understand Gods character better? The purpose of Exodus and the Old Testament? The ultimate justice of Jesus work on the cross?
