The Decision to Follow

FOLLOW #1 | Olivia Waller. Jesus invites every person to follow him into a richer life. In this mini-series, we’ll explore the challenges we face in accepting his compelling invitation to this better way of living.

Discussion Questions:

1. How does our culture define “a good life,” and in what ways does that definition make it harder for people today to follow Jesus?
2. Read Mark 10:17-31
1. What was the first man's real barrier to following Jesus? Where do you see similar barriers showing up in modern discipleship? 
2. Peter said, “We’ve given up everything to follow you.” What does Jesus’ answer teach us about the cost and the gifts of following Him? What challenges you the most? 
3. Personally answer the two questions posed in the Sunday Sermon: (1) What is your wealth? and (2) Will you leave everything?
