Jesus invites every person to follow him into a richer life. In this mini-series, we’ll explore the challenges we face in accepting his compelling invitation to this better way of living.

Discussion Questions

  1. Read about the crowds who followed Jesus in John 6:26–31. Their motives was always to get something from Jesus. Where have you noticed this attitude in the Church?
  2. Read about the Religious Leaders in Matthew 23:1–4, 23:25–26. Their motive was always to judge and criticize Jesus. Where have you drifted into this attitude about God, Church or other Christians?
  3. How do you reflect, recognize and deal with your motives? How does the Discover church mission (Pray, Grow, Reach) help grow you into goidly motivation.  
  4. Read Proverbs 16:2 as a prayer and then share and/or pray honestly about motives that God is cleaning up in your own heart.
