- If necessary, discuss the Life Group rhythm: PRAY, GROW, REACH. Is everyone familiar with this?
- If necessary, new group members can introduce themselves and how they came to Discover Church.
PRAY
- Begin your Life Group with worship songs, contemplative prayer, thankfulness, personal prayer requests or similar.
- Pray for this Term 3 church wide evangelism initiative – pray for Discover church, your Life Group, Ripple Effect course, the Kids Church and Youth Group.
GROW
Discussion Questions:
- What do you hope to learn or unlearn about evangelism during the course?
- What did you learn from Martine’s experience of an evangelistic conversation with her friend?
- If God answered all your prayers from last week would anyone become a Christian?
- Which places (or activities) do you regularly spend time with non-Christians?
- Name 3-5 people in your network of friends and family who are open to deeper relationship or faith conversations.
- Read Acts 2:36-41 – Peter advises a three-step response to the Gospel (v38). How would you briefly and simply explain each step to an unchurched friend?

REACHING PRAYERS
- Pray Acts 1:8 over each other, that you would be effective witnesses
- Pray for each other to grow in reaching our friends for Jesus
- Pray for one place each that God would open doors for deeper relationships
- Pray for one person each that their heart would open to Jesus
