Godly values are wildly unpopular in our modern “me-centred” culture. This series will explore the Biblical values of Humility, Contentment, Honesty, Chastity, Fortitude, and Companionship and how they offer a superior way to live.
Discussion Questions:
- What is the difference between biblical Fortitude and Entitlement
- Diagnose a problem of Entitlement in culture – what is a common example that you see, why is this a problem to human flourishing i.e. spend our lives chasing money, things, love rationalising it all by saying we “deserve it” or reward ourselves.
- Read Romans 5: 1-11 (NLT) – Share how you are currently being formed by God in the area of developing fortitude and ‘laying aside’ the sin of entitlement.
